2021
Established on November 15 2021 in Tokyo, Japan. Started with an AI-powered app to simplify waste sorting in cities with complex regulations.
2022
Joined accelerators (Acceli CIty, Plug & Play). Partnered with Briga in Indonesia and shifted focus to the waste bank ecosystem. Began designing tools for field operations and data capture.
2023
Pivoted from standalone app to an integrated system. Developed SmartScale (smart weighing device) prototype Ver. 1.
2024
Launched first PoC at Bank Sampah Ciamis, West Java. Built 16.000+ labeled waste images and expanded testing to SEKOLA, East Java.
2025
Entered trial sales with more waste facilities in Indonesia. Developed SmartScale Ver.2 and updated the AI model for bulk waste.

Reconnai is scaling across Asia Pacific while Laying the foundation for EcoFlow AI and DCAAS (Data-Collection-and-Annotation-as-a-Service).
