Since our first pilot, we’ve been working closely with real users in the field to test, refine, and scale SmartScale — our AI-powered waste tracking system — in partnership with frontline waste actors.
From prototype to pilot in the heart of West Java.
In 2024, we launched our first SmartScale prototype in a community waste facility in Red Island, Banyuwangi, Indonesia and in Ciamis, West Java, Indonesia. Despite limited resources, the results were immediate:
